Caravan Camping Ticket

We have designated an area on the festival grounds (marked on the map) for Caravan Camping where festival goers arriving in mobile homes or caravans can camp. Mobile homes constitute vehicles with fixed beds, therefore station wagons with folded down back seats or microbuses with laid down mattress do not entitle you to use the Caravan Camping. To enter the Caravan Camping site the vehicle must have a Caravan Camping ticket, which entitles you to one entry between 10th and 17th August. If you leave the festival site during the event, you will not be able to come back into the camping area with the ticket. In order to use Caravan Camping each person in the mobile home / caravan must have a Camping Ticket.

VIP Camping Ticket

This year, the wide range of Sziget services is augmented with the so-called VIP Camping. Although the camping facilities of Sziget have already been regarded as top quality on an international level, we have decided to develop a new area grouping the services on the usual standard, in order to create a better-than-good VIP Camping. Naturally, we have done so without decreasing the number and standard of facilities available to everyone.

Thus, we are creating a protected area where a checkroom, a safe deposit, a cellphone charger, internet, Wi-Fi, a grocery store, a snack bar with a roofed terrace and a launderette can be found; all these with permanent supervision, cleaning and information service. The VIP Camping is being built right next to the open air swimming pool on Sziget, therefore the campers can pass the time bathing and drinking cocktails by the pool.

It has to be mentioned that although in previous years the pool was available for the whole of the Sziget audience, the authorities banned its use from the public at large in 2008. This year we are able to maintain the pool in a limited way, therefore only the residents of the VIP Camping will be allowed to use it. Only those with a VIP Camping Ticket and a Camping Ticket will be permitted to reside in the VIP Camping.

In case your entry ticket / armband is no longer valid, but you would like to stay, you can buy another wristband on the area of Sziget, in the town center or from the armband controllers. If your wristband is invalid and you do not buy another one, you are obliged to leave the area of Sziget.

Tickets / wristbands are non-transferable and non-refundable! A wristband counts as a valid entry pass only if it is worn on the wrist. WRISTBANDS that are DAMAGED (glued, cut, with a patent undone, broader than the hand) are INVALID. Ticket forgers and those participating in forging will be prosecuted. Damaged and lost wristbands cannot be replaced.

Visitors aged under 14 can only enter the event with adult guidance (children aged under 10 can enter free of charge).

For the sake of your own safety, bodysurfing (when crowd members send fans oveir their heads towards the stage) is forbidden on Sziget. In case it still happens to you, the security staff will lead you out to the edge of the given site. If it occurs again, you will have to leave the area of Sziget!

Driving into the site of Sziget is not permitted! To approach the event we would like to ask you to use public transport, the special buses, ferries, rickshaws or taxi services.
