Mandala painting blindfolded

The world record attempt initiated by the Magyar Pszichiátriai Társaság, the Védőháló a Lelki Egészségért Alapítvány, the Tárt Kapu a Kreatív Életért Egyesület, the Sötét Nappalok Fényes Éjszakák Egyesület and the Hungarian Alzheimer Society will be held on the 11^th August between 13 and 20 pm on day zero of Sziget Festival.

The mental patients' life turned into shiftless one because of the deficiency of the discrimination and the assistance. The four organisations initiating the record attempt would like to illustrate it with mandala painting, that as a psychic patient quasi impossible to live though so, than to prepare a mandala with closed eyes without help.

Several million people fight various mental illnesses in Hungary by their own concerning or by their direct environment.

At one time two people can work on the monumental mandala – almost 70 m² – simultaneously. The blindfolded "artist" scatters the coloured sand with his optic companion's management. We wait for more than 500 young adventurers in order to the record attempt is successful.
