Kasabian: New songs

You will probably get to hear some new songs at Kasabian's gig this year at Sziget as it is a well-known fact that the favourite band of Oasis' Gallagher brothers have been working on their fourth studio album since November last year. Tom Meighan and Co. have just published their song Switchblade Smiles off the new album. You can check it out now.

Yesterday, on BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe, one of the new songs of the latest Kasabian-album called Switchblade Smiles has been introduced. Listen to it now!

However, this is not the only song fans get to hear off the new album titled Velociraptor!, as Tom Meighand and his band are planning to play the song Velociraptor! itself at gigs, too. Here it is:

Besides, the two singers of Kasabian even had some time to get into the world of movies. Tom Meighan showed up at the tv-show Walk Like A Panther, whereas the guitarist and songwriter of the band Sergio Pizzorno wrote a song for the soundtrack of the gangster-film London Boulvard, titled The Green Fairy. As we know, the only thing more exciting than fiction is reality, so it's definitely worth watching the werkfilm created by MNE about the recordings of Velociraptor! in the studio of Kasabian.

Kasabian is going to play on 11th August on the greatest stage of Sziget, but beforehand, among many other events, they will show up at oustanding music festivals like Isle of Wight, a Rockness or Rock Werchter.
