Three, two, one!

After the final countdown, one of Hungary's most popular bands, the 23 year-old Kispál és a borz has made its farewell, within the compass of a three-hour long show on Sziget's minus first day. Confettis, kitchen, stadium-rock and intimate club-stage - all of these came back, together with their greatest and most ancient hits, for one last time.

Day zero was a day of traditions: while a several decade-old Jamaican music genre was celebrating itself on the Main Stage where various generations of reggae played together, many times in one band, World Music Stage saw the spiritual and musical heritage of the legendary singer-songwriter Tamás Cseh deceased a year ago, many times performed by various artists of different styles.

On the first day of Sziget, the ska-celebration of the Main Stage went on, with artists like SKA-P and Madness performing, and - among many others - the following bands are making the event even more exciting: Gwar, The Toy Dolls, The Hives, Children of Bodom, and DJ Shadow.
